Gift!!

My mother walked into my room a couple of hours ago to hand me a gift a very special person sent me. Special person is Sandra. I know Sandra and her husband for about one year and a half. Makes me feel very special that someone thought of me and thought of giving me something. You see, its not so much the actual gift, its the thought that counts. I encourage you to think of that one person that would be blown away with a little something, just because:) ……

Yay! I got this book as a gift a couple of months ago and I have been wanting to read it, but because of two other books I had pending I decided to wait. But today is the day!! Cant wait to see what Mrs. Bevere has to share:).

Twitter

So, I have been using TWITTER for a few months now and I LOVE IT! I get to follow some amazing people and share whatever I am doing. I do try to not twitt every minute, but I do twitt . I just had to share this. So, if you are not using it by now, just log on their page, get an account and take it easy because if you try to learn all about it in one day, you will end up frustrated. lol.. Just flow with it, its great!

Just Do it!

During my visit to Mozambique I was able to see so many things that would break my heart.  Every day there was a little something that would make me reflect and just put me to think for a while.

Something that has been in my heart, since I came back, has been “what can I do?”  And as I pray and seek God for guidance, I realize that there are many things that require not much but a “Just do it” attitude.

Children that are sponsored are so lucky in their neighborhood.  I know we always see it on tv and maybe hear a missionary here and there share how just a few dollars can make a difference on the other side of the world.  Well its true, 35 dollars a month can change the life of a young child in such a way.  I want to encourage everyone who reads this, to sponsor a child today.  I was able to see how much it helps them and their family.  You can make the difference!

AFRICA 2009

What an amazing time God allowed us to have in Africa. I consider myself so lucky and priviliged because He allowed us to Go to one of the greatest places in the world AFRICA!
We were able to be at HPC Mozambique with Pastor Isaac and Carol along with Deborah W. they are increible people who are serving on the other side of the world. So many things we were able to experience that the more I think, the more I realize that words will not be able to express the amazing experience. Its one of those things that no matter how much we say, or how we say it, it will not be the same. All I can say is that it changed my life and I will NEVER BE THE SAME!….
